At EuroCham's recent property working group meeting, the building line up for the upcoming Green Building Excursion to Hong Kong was announced. The buildings include a range of Platinum rated offices such as Interntional Commercial Center (ICC) which is a 118-storey complex containing grade-A offices and a top hotel above a high-end shopping mall, featuring energy-consumption monitors and a custom energy-regulating system to analyse data on the building's energy distribution and consumption patterns; One Island East, a skyscraper located in TaiKoo Place on Island East, Hong Kong. It is a commercial office building that rises 298.35 m and has 68 stories. The building uses variable Air Volume system (VAV) with Direct Digital Control (DDC). The building is the 6th skyscraper over 1,000 ft (305 m) completed in Hong Kong; and Luk Hoi Tong (LHT) Tower, where an impressive retrofitting of the 90 year old building has been carried out. The building which comprises a 28-storey mixed office and retail tower has a gross floor area of 21,000 square metres, spreading over 21 floors of office which have an approximate floor plate efficiency of 87% and are served by an energy-saving Schindler Miconic lift system for faster vertical circulation, full continuity planning and excellent technical specifications. The site was originally occupied by the old Queen's Theatre in 1925 and was later developed into an office cum cinema building in 1961.
